Quick and Easy Installation
The design of these linear encoders allow installment in almost any position, unlike glass-scale linear encoders, which usually need to be installed with the lip seal facing downwards to prevent contamination. Self-aligning fixing brackets allow virtually effortless scale mounting, needing only a single hole for each set of brackets.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO REMEMBER WHEN ORDERING:

• Always verify travel sizes. Order encoders by travel length, NOT overall length.

| • The overall length of the Spherosyn Scales is 10.2" longer than the stated travel length. |
| • Encoders include the reader head with 11.5' cable, scale, scale cover and brackets to mount the scale. |
| • Bracket kits to mount the reader head(s) are sold separately. |
| • Display mounting arms are sold separately unless included in a package. |
| • Spherosyn and Microsyn reader heads have a 11.5' cable. Extension cables may be required for applications of 100' of travel or more. TIP: Be sure to order extension cables on the longer travels, even if you are not sure they will be needed. Extension cables can be returned for full credit without a re-stock charge. |
